Three Semi-Finalists ran into strong opposition and came up short falling in the final minutes of their respective matches. The u17 Boys lost 2-0 to TSF Academy after fighting hard for 80 minutes. The u14 Boys suffered a heartbreaking 1-0 loss when the NJ Stallions finished a spectacular goal in the final minute. Finally, the u15 Boys failed to convert a penalty kick in the second half which proved to be the difference as the Tampa Bay Premier team scored on a counter in the final five minutes.

With two consolation victories by the u13B and u16B, Alliance Acacemy's overall record at the National Tournament improves to 22 wins, 11 losses, and 7 ties. With six out of ten teams having won their groups and the teams coming within minutes of the finals, the club will be working hard in their preparation for 2011. The goal of a National Championship through Super Y will take a great deal of work but, the coaching staff is committed to starting today.

Finally, thanks to all the players, coaches, parents, and managers for making this week such a positive experience.
